Departing from her trademark electronic instrumentation, Suzanne Ciani returns in Dream Suite to her orchestral and acoustic roots. Recorded in Moscow with the 70-member Young Russia Orchestra, the album takes full advantage of the sweeping, lush sound that only an orchestra can truly provide. Dream Suite is steeped in classical style with contemporary sensibilities and draws inspiration from the passion of the great masters, tempered with Ciani's sophisticated technique, evocative melodies and clear sense of direction. The music moves with a sound that is loving, sweet and timeless. This classical suite of ten songs, which Billboard described as equally "lush" and "romantic," is Ciani's most mature and moving work to date.
